Pokemon Sword and Shield are two new mainline Pokemon games for the Nintendo Switch that introduce a new region and dozens of never-before-seen monsters to catch, raise, and evolve. If you’re trying to figure out how to evolve Zweilous in Pokemon Sword and Shield, here’s what you need to know.
Where to Catch Zweilous
Before you learn about how to evolve Zweilous into Hydreigon, you need to first obtain Zweilous first, which is pretty obvious.
You can catch this Pokemon out in the Outrage Lake in Pokemon Sword or through Max Raid Battles but Zweilous, Deino, and Hydreigon cannot be found in Pokemon Shield at all unless you trade with someone who owns Pokemon Sword.
Anyways, yes, Zweilous can be found at Outrage Lake but only during a thunderstorm or sandstorm and even then, there is only a 2% chance of finding it.
Another way to get it is by catching a Deino and evolving it at level 50. It can also be found during Max Raid battles or at Outrage Lake while it’s raining but still, there is only a 2% chance of actually finding it.
How to Evolve Zweilous in Pokemon Sword & Shield
To evolve Zweilous, all you need to do is level up it up until it hits level 64, in which it will evolve into Hydreigon, the dark/dragon-type. Simply bring it into your party to gain experience or feed it experience candy to help level it up.
