Weapon and armor parts in Outer Worlds play a large part in the game, as you’ll use them to repair damaged gear and bring the back to full effectiveness.

To be able to do that though, you’ll need to know how to break them down pieces of gear.

How to Get Weapon & Armor Parts

To start breaking down parts, head over to your inventory. To do this, press the Touchpad if you’re playing on PS4 or View button on Xbox One.

From here, select what you want to break down by moving the left analog stick to hover your cursor over it. Press Triangle (PS4) or Y (Xbox One), and then use the break down option.
