This rep glitch isn’t a simple visual issue like the no name issue. When your rep bar and badge progression freeze, your player truly isn’t earning any experience.
Any games you play and spectacular performances you have essentially get wiped out by this glitch. It’s important to deal with this bug as soon as you notice it so you don’t waste any time.
Even though 2K hasn’t been able to release a patch yet to resolve the rep glitch, a handful of YouTubers have been testing out different methods with varying levels of success.
Also, you’ll want to constantly keep an eye on your rep. These solutions for the rep glitch that have been found are mostly temporary and a fix from 2K will be necessary to resolve the issue permanently
It’s important to note that these fixes may not work for everyone, and if none of them work for you, then an eventual fix from 2K will be your best solution.

YouTube user KendallFire has an incredibly quick fix that has already worked for multiple players of NBA 2K20. Again, the following is only a temporary solution to the rep problem.
Once you complete a game in MyCareer mode, then get over to the training facility and complete all your training drills. This should get your rep bar and badge progression moving again.
Play in the Park
xoTSK on Twitter seems to have found another method for fixing the rep glitch, and get it flowing again as it should. If you play a park game with a different player, then it should get the rep working again for the affected player.
Of course, this means that you need to have multiple players in order to resolve the rep glitch this way. If you prefer to just have one player, then you may want to just make another for resolving this issue.
