How to Level Up Fast in Pokémon Masters

Recommended Videos

Pokémon Masters is finally here, and just like in other Pokémon games, you’ll want to have your team at as high of a level as possible to succeed. That’s why we’re here with a guide on how to level up fast in Pokemon Masters.

As with other titles in the series, Pokémon Masters sees your Sync Pair of creatures and trainers level up with each battle you win through the EXP they earn. More difficult opponents yield more experience, and only those who are actively in the battle – conscious or KO’d – receive EXP.

On paper, this might lead you to believe you need to play through the game as fast as possible to level up fast, leaving your Sync Pairs of choice in your line-up to ensure they level properly. However, there are two methods one can use to strengthen most any team you want as fast as possible.

How to Use Level Up Manuals

The first method is to use Level Up Manuals. Earned by completing story missions, exchanging coins for them at the shop and otherwise playing Pokémon Masters regularly, these manuals instantly grant a Sync Pair a lump sum of EXP sans the grinding inherent from battling.

More times than not, these manuals will provide enough experience to increase a Pair’s level multiple times too, especially as you acquire higher level variants of the manuals.

Using them is easy to. Go to the main menu and tap on the Team tab. Then, tap the Level Up tab. This will bring you to a screen where you can select the Sync Pair you wish to level up.

Tap on the pair you want to make stronger, and then look for the different manuals below their stats. Tap on the plus sign below the manual you wish to use, and then tap the OK button at the bottom of the screen to allocate their experience toward your selected character.

So, to summarize:

  1. Go to the Main Menu and tap the Team tab.

This will bring you to a menu of options for powering up your Sync Pairs.

  2. Tap on the Level Up tab and tap on the Sync Pair you want to enhance.

Doing so will allow you to access and use your Level Up Manuals.

  3. Select how many Manuals and which variants you wish to use.

Be sure to hit the OK button at the bottom of the screen to successfully allocate them.

How to Grind EXP Fast

The other method for leveling up fast in Pokémon Masters is to grind through past chapters’ battles. You can earn an infinite amount of EXP from these battles by going back through them as many times as you’d like, with whatever Sync Pair Team you want to level up.

To do so, all you need to do is select the Main Story option from the Explore option of the main menu. Then, select the chapter with the battle you wish to replay and tap on said battle’s tab in the chapter’s menu.

Also, as stated before, Sync Pairs that are knocked out still receive EXP so long as your team completes the string of battles. As such, don’t be afraid to grind through higher level battles with a low level Sync Pair thrown in to gain some levels fast.
