Pokemon Masters is the new game in a long line of mobile games based on the Pokemon series. This time, battling is the focus, instead of being catching them all as it is in GO. So that you can make your Sync Pairs as powerful as possible, here’s everything you need to know about how to increase level cap in Pokemon Masters.
Each of your Sync Pairs earn XP by winning battles. As they level up, you’ll see their stats for things like HP and Attack increase. However, all pairs can only be levelled up to a specific point, at which time you need to increase the level cap.
How to Increase Level Cap in Pokemon Masters
There is a couple of ways to increase a Sync Pair’s level cap. The option won’t be available at the start of the game, but you can eventually head to the green haired character to the right of the Pokemon Centre hub (Trinnia) and select the Level Up option.
To increase the level cap, you will need certain items, which change depending on the height of the level cap and the Sync Pair. It’ll usually be things like Blends and Aide Ade, but that can change.
Simply get as many as you need and select the Unlock Level Cap option, which’ll allow you to continue levelling up your Sync Pairs in Pokemon Masters’ battles.
You can also do it by using Power Ups. Head to the same character in the hub area and select the Increase Potential option. Here, you’ll be able to use Power Ups to level characters up, and it’ll often push them past any level caps.
You can get Power Ups when you scout a Sync Pair that you’ve already got before. It essentially means that any purchases you make don’t turn out to be a waste of gems.
In short,
- You can increase a Sync Pair’s level cap by heading to Trinnia, selecting level up, and using the items required if you have them.
