Wolfenstein Youngblood is out now and it changes the formula of the series up a bit, seeing you take control of B.J. Blazkovicz’s teenage daughters as they search for their Dad in occupied Paris. So that you can progress through the game, here’s everything you need to know about how to get into Brother 1 in Wolfenstein Youngblood.

On top of changing it up to bring co-op to the series, Youngblood has opted for a more open-world type structure which sees you head out to various open districts to complete missions.

The overarching objective is to infiltrate three bases called Brothers 1, 2, and 3, to get keys that give you and your friends access to something that’ll help you find B.J. However, these places are heavily guarded and often pretty tricky to get into, particularly Brother 1.

After you’ve completed the mission that gets you access to the Underground, you’ll need to follow the orange markers through to the gate for Brother 1. Once you’re out in the open, keep following the marker into a courtyard.

Reaching the Brother 1 Entrance

Here, you’ll find a huge Ubergarde enemy. I’d recommend not even trying to fight them unless you’re level 25 or higher, but even then, the rewards for doing so aren’t really worth the effort.

Instead, just focus on getting into Brother 1. On the left side of the courtyard, just by the entrance, you’ll see a little guard post. Inside, you’ll be able to interact with a button that opens the big gate to the prison to the left.

Once it’s open, just run past the big enemy and follow the marker over to the other side of this area and down into the underground rooms. Once you’ve gone as far as you can, you’ll come across a set of two double doors that say “Opens Elsewhere,” as many do in Wolfenstein Youngblood.

I’d move quickly though, because the enemies from the entrance will follow you down into the prison and you don’t want to come against a giant, fire-breathing, robot dog down there.

In the room to the left, there will be a red button that you need to press to open them. Once open, just continue to follow the marker through the prison and you’ll reach and door that both of you will need to open.

Getting Inside Brother 1 in Wolfenstein Youngblood

Here, you’ll want to get into the little office room that gets you into Brother 1 but the only way in is via a door that needs to be opened with the Laserkraftwerk, which you won’t have yet.

There is another way in though. In the middle of the room, you’ll see a large light fixture. Jump up onto that and follow the platform in front of you round to the right until you reach a vent.

Crawl through that and drop down into the little office room. Keep going forward into the next room and you’ll find the Laserkraftwerk weapon you need to open the door. Turn back around, disintegrate the door there and carry on. You’re now into the main part of Brother 1.
