Team Sonic Racing, like most kart racers, is best enjoyed with friends or other players online. However, there’s actually a fun little story mode to play through called Team Adventure Mode. How Long Team Adventure Mode Is in Team Sonic Racing
Team Adventure Mode is split up into a number of different chapters, each of which is themed around a different Sonic the Hedgehog world. Each of these chapters has a number of races to play through, most of which are the standard team races.
However, there are a few wrinkles added in with different game types, like Traffic Jam, which has you dodging robots and driving through gates to earn more time, or Daredevil, which requires you to skim through gates and drift for more points.
It should be noted that you don’t have to play through every single race to make it through each chapter, just the main path that leads to that chapter’s exit. Here’s a full list of all seven chapters and how many races each one has.
- Chapter 1 – The Mysterious Invite – 6 Races
- Chapter 2 – Time to Race – 7 Races
- Chapters 3 – Guess Who’s Back!? – 9 Races

- Chapter 6 – The Kidnapping – 11 Races
- Chapter 7 – The Final Showdown – 12 Races
Each race in Team Adventure Mode has stars you can earn, with standard races letting you earn three and all the other ones letting you earn two. These stars work as they would in any platformer, unlocking paths and letting you get to new levels.
If you plan on completing the entirety of Team Adventure Mode, expect to take about 4-5 hours to complete it. If you’re going for every single star, then it will definitely take much longer than that.
