How to Get the Charged Pulse Cannon in Rage 2

As we’ve mentioned already, you’ll need to go and discover various locations to unlock most of the weapons in Rage 2. Specifically, you’ll find them in Ark pods which are scattered across the wasteland. In the case of the charged pulse cannon, you’re looking for the Shrouded Vault Ark.

The Shrouded Vault Ark can be found on the eastern edge of the Dune Sea, which is the desert biome to the east of Vineland (the starting area). You should find the location highlighted with a question mark if you haven’t discovered it already.

To actually gain access to the Ark, though, you’ll first need to destroy two reactors at the Shrouded Sub Station Alpha and Bravo. Both of these locations will pop up on your map as soon as you have discovered the Ark, so you should have no trouble finding them.

No surprises, both are protected by enemies, which you’ll have to defeat before pulling a level and then using your Focus (L1 on PS4, Left Bumper on Xbox One) to destroy.

Once you’ve done that it’s just a case of heading back to the Shrouded Vault Ark and going through the now unlocked door. There are more enemies to work through before can actually access the pod and get the charged pulse cannon. It’s quite a time-consuming affair but not overly challenging.

The charged pulse cannon shoots energy bolts and it’s a handy weapon to have in the early game.

That should be everything you need to know about how to get the charged pulse cannon in Rage 2. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to check out our extensive wiki page.
