How to Get the Regalia Mount in FFXIV
The special FFXV event is currently underway in Final Fantasy XIV, and it comes with a few neat goodies players can collect. Here’s how you can get the iconic Regalia mount in FFXIV.
For those of you who might be unaware, the Regalia is the black car that Noctis and crew got to drive around Eos in Final Fantasy XV. With the new collaboration event, you can now ride around Eorzea with that same car as well.
Starting the Nocturne for Heroes Quest
First things first, you’ll need to complete the quest chain for A Nocturne for Heroes, which was newly added with the event.
Head to Ul’Dah and go to the Steps of Nald (X 8.5, 7 9.7) to start the quest titled “The Man in Black.” There are only three quests to complete in this chain, so it shouldn’t take you too long.
The only thing you need to be aware of is that your character must be at level 50, and have completed A Realm Reborn. After completing this quest chain, the Regalia will become available for purchase. And this is where things get a little tricky.
Getting the Regalia Mount
The Regalia can only be obtained from the Gold Saucer, and you can only purchase it with MGP. By speaking to the Ironworks Vendor (found near the Mini Cactpot Broker), you’ll be able to purchase the Regalia for 200,000 MGP.
If you haven’t been keeping up with your MGP grind this whole time, this is gonna be a bit much for you. Thankfully, there are a few ways to quickly earn MGP.
- Do your weekly challenge log.
- Do your weekly Fashion Report in the Gold Saucer.
- Purchase your three daily Mini Cactpot tickets.
- Purchase your weekly Jumbo Cactpot ticket.
If you’re diligent about completing Khloe’s weekly journal as well, you can sometimes get an MGP platinum card for getting two complete lines. It’s also worth noting that this event will end on May 27, so you’ve only got a limited amount of time to grind out the MGP you need.
