One Piece World Seeker has finally arrived, bringing a narrative typical of the anime, and gorgeous visuals to our consoles. If you want to stay looking fresh on your adventure experimenting with the legendary Gum-Gum fruit and uncovering island secrets, here’s how to get clothes and change outfits in One Piece World Seeker.

How to Get More Clothes

If you’re looking to get more clothes in One Piece World Seeker, you’ll need to keep an eye out for silver treasure chests. Fortunately, these are marked on the minimap with a golden chest icon, but it’s worth noting they’ll take a little longer to unlock than the basic wooden ones you’ve also seen.

You can expect opening a silver chest to take about 10-15 seconds, by pressing and holding the Triangle or Y button. A skill can also be learned from the Exploration skill tree that allows you to open treasure chests even faster.

Inside these silver treasure chests, you’ll find blueprints. It’s these that enable you to craft more clothes in One Piece World Seeker. Take these back to Franky or Usopp at the Thousand Sunny and you’ll be able to craft that. You’ll need to craft more clothes before you can change outfits in One Piece World Seeker.

It’s worth noting that these require a large amount of rare materials, such as Andromeda Moth, Cocoons, Luxury Land Gator Hides, and other materials in the highest material tiers. You’ll know if they’re within the highest tier if they show up in a golden yellow color in the materials menu.

If you pre-ordered a copy of One Piece World Seeker, you’ll also have received some additional outfits as bonus DLC. We’ve listed these pre-order DLC outfits below:

  • Bathing Suit Outfit
  • Battle Outfit

To change clothes and outfits, you’ll want to examine the door on the right of the Thousand Sunny’s main deck. Again, it’s worth noting that the prompt to alter your clothing when in front of this door won’t show up unless you’ve purchased and crafted at least one new costume first.

Once you’ve interacted with the door, you’ll then enter a costume selection menu with all of your currently crafted costumes available. Simply select the one you want to have Luffy hop into, and confirm your choice. Exit out of the menu and you’ll be free to return to the game world with a fresh set of clothes.
