How to Learn New Abilities in Devil May Cry 5
Devil May Cry games have always featured one thing above all else: stylish, gore-soaked action, and Devil May Cry 5 is no exception. You will wade through wave after wave of demonic foes, hell-bent on doing you in. Regardless of which of the game’s three playable characters you choose, you are going to need all the help you can get. Here’s how to learn new abilities in Devil May Cry 5.Â
In addition to the standard attacks that are probably going to be your bread-and-butter, each character has access to skills that are unique to them, and that can be used to devilish effect.
These skills provide much of the combat systems depth, and while they don’t come cheap, unlocking abilities to give yourself an edge should be one of your top priorities.
How to Unlock New Abilities
Abilities can be unlocked before each mission, and you are going to want to spend some time before you embark ensuring they will suit both your needs and playstyle.
Select the Customize option, and open the Skills menu. Here you will find a selection of different tabs for each of your characters, and you will be able to spend all of those hard-earned red orbs to upgrade your characters in a variety of different ways.
For example, Nero has options for each of his different weapons, like Blue Rose, Red Queen, and the Devil Breakers. Dante, meanwhile, has options for his weapons, but also for his different combat styles. There is a lot of flexibility here, and you are going to want to experiment often to find what best suits your needs.
Once you are in a mission, you can also access a primer on how a specific ability works by pressing start to open the main menu, and selecting the Skill List. Even professional demon hunters need a refresher sometimes, so be sure to check it out from time to time.
That’s everything you need to know about unlocking abilities in Devil May Cry 5.
