Is Dead or Alive 6 PS4 Pro Compatible? What You Need to Know

Developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo, Dead or Alive 6 is the latest entry in the popular fighting game series, starring the iconic ninja protagonist Kasumi. Here’s what you need to know about whether Dead or Alive 6 is PS4 Pro compatible.

If you bought Sony’s souped-up PS4 Pro console, you’ll likely be wondering whether the game will take full advantage of your console’s prowess and all those teraflops. The answer is yes, Dead or Alive 6 is indeed PS4 Pro compatible.

However, it might not be as impressive as you were expecting. Even on the Pro, the game still runs at 1080p instead of upscaled 4K, though it’s not like the Pro’s capable of outputting in native 4K anyway.

The good news is that this PS4 Pro compatible game does still look quite a bit better than it would on the base PS4, as the quality of the stages and battle effects look much crisper on the powerful console.

At the time of writing, there doesn’t seem to be any settings you can play around with in the menu to allow you to choose between performance or graphical modes, so you’ll just have to take what you can get. Rest assured, though, that if graphical fidelity is the most important aspect of a game for you, this fighting game will look pretty nice on your PS4 Pro, as compared to the base version of the console.

That’s all you need to know about whether Dead or Alive 6 is PS4 Pro compatible. If anything changes, we’ll update this article accordingly.
