Is There a Difficulty Achievement? Answered in Crackdown 3
The first big Xbox One exclusive on 2019, Crackdown 3, has finally arrived and you’re able to cause havoc in the game’s sandbox open world. However, you’re going to come up against your fair share of enemies. Here’s everything you need to know about whether there is a difficulty achievement in Crackdown 3.
Most players will have a difficulty option that they usually go for, whether that is Normal, Easy so that they can get through the game quickly, or Hard to give themselves a real test.
However, that decision sometimes has to be changed after you’ve begun due to tricky enemies, or even easy ones. Also, that decision can ride on whether the game has a difficulty achievement.
In Crackdown 3, there is a difficulty achievement. Beating the game on Legendary difficulty will see you earn 25 Gamerscore upon completion.
Therefore, you’re going to need to consider whether you want to start on the harder difficulty so that you can get as much Gamerscore from one playthrough as possible, or play through on a comfortable difficulty first and then again on Legendary once you have a decent feel for how the game works.
If you start Crackdown 3 on Legendary, and the change to an easier setting, or the other way round, it will not count towards the achievement. You’ll need to make the decision before the game begins.
