Pokemon Snap

Pokemon Snap

We were treated to a wonderful Pokemon Yellow remake just last year with Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, but the spin-off remake many fans want to see is Pokemon Snap.

It originally came to Nintendo 64 in 1999 and it’s a very basic game if you go back to it now. That being said, taking pictures of cute Pokemon, whether that be on-rails like in Snap, or in an open world of sorts, will always be fun.

Due to when it released, Pokemon Snap saw you just roll around on a rail while taking pictures of Generation 1 Pokemon. There wasn’t really a lot to it aside from the novelty of seeing Pokemon out in the wild and putting together an album of photos.

With everything that has been added to the world of Pokemon over the years, such as new characters, locations, items, and hundreds of new Pokemon, a Snap remake in Dreams could be much bigger and varied than the original.

Also, if the on-rails design idea remains, it’s also likely to be a pretty simple creation to put together with the tools that Media Molecule are going to give players.
