Games Players Should Remake in Dreams
Dead Space
During the Dreams beta, there were two creations in particular that stood out. First was the PT remake that reminded us how great that lost gem was, and the other was a scene from the first Dead Space.
Catchily called ‘Dead Space thing REVAMP’, it was just a short section of the game, but it showcased the potential of Dreams’ tools.
Of course, it’ll take a lot more time and work to recreate the entire game, and some of the more open areas simply might not be possible, but since there have been no signs of the series continuing since the launch of Dead Space 3 in early 2013, and EA are generally against the idea of remasters, Dreams might be the best place to see it return.
As we saw with this creation, and the PT one, survival horror titles may be a good option for creators diving into Media Molecule’s game due to the linear and enclosed nature of many of them.
