All Playable Characters in Kingdom Hearts 3
Kingdom Hearts 3 brings a long-awaited end to the journey of Sora, Riku, and Kairi as well as the Dark Seeker saga. While we’ve gotten to play as other characters across the franchise, KH3 is mainly Sora’s story, but there are a couple of surprises. Here are all playable characters in Kingdom Hearts 3.

Almost the entirety of KH3 is spent playing as Sora, as you might expect. He is, and has always been, the main character of the franchise. Because of that he’s the only character that’ll actually level up, and that you get to actively customize in different ways.
However, there are two other playable characters in the game that you’ll get to control for a short period of time.
The first of these characters is Riku, who you’ll play as twice throughout the course of the game. Riku has a pre-made moveset and abilities.
Likewise, the third character you’ll only play as for one boss battle. That character is Aqua, once she appears in the story and joins the other Guardians of Light.
