Dead or Alive 6 Gets New Videos Showcasing the Triangle System

Today Dead or Alive 6 developer Team Ninja released a new series of videos of the game on its official Twitter account.

The videos serve as tutorials to explain players new to the franchise how the triangle system works.

Basically, it’s a rock-paper-scissors system in which strikes beat throws, throws beat holds, and holds beat strikes.

The first video below has the game’s Community Manager explain how you can punish an opponent that’s abusing throws with well-timed strikes that deal additional damage.

The second video showcase how you can use throws to deal additional damage to an opponent who has become predictable with their holds.

Last, but not least, we get to see how holds, which are one of the most technical and interesting aspects of the game, can throw the power of your enemies’ strikes right back at their faces.

The videos also showcase some neat costumes for the characters showcased, which is also a nice bonus.

If you want to see more of the game, you can check out the latest character reveal with Nyotengu and Phase 4, another one focusing on Elliot and Brad Wong, some recent gameplay, and an earlier batch of video clips.

Dead or Alive 6 has just been slightly delayed and is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 1.
