The Tales series is celebrating its 23rd anniversary this year, and to coincide with that Bandai Namco has announced a special ” Tales Room” broadcast happening on December 8. The stream will take place on December 8 from 20:00 to 22:00 JST. Keep in mind, of course, that it will be entirely in Japanese.
Bandai Namco says the stream is for fans to celebrate the anniversary of the series along with members of the development team and certain voice actors from the series. They’ll also be sharing the latest information on multiple projects currently in development.
This will most likely include the upcoming Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, as well as the recently announced mobile game Tales of Crestoria. However, there’s also a chance we could see something from the new mainline Tales game we found out was in development earlier this year.
Here’s a list of the actors that will be presenting during the event.
- Katsuyuki Konishi (Lloyd Irving in Tales of Symphonia)
- Rika Morinaga (Rita in Tales of Vesperia)
- Eiji Takemoto (Raven in Tales of Vesperia)
- Haruka Terui (Mileena Weiss in Tales of the Rays)
- Kouhei Amasaki (Kanata Hjuger in Tales of Crestoria)
The very first Tales game was Tales of Phantasia, which released on the Super Famicom in 1995. The latest mainline entry in the series was Tales of Berseria, which came to the west on PS4 in 2017.
