How to Find Quests in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Exploration Mode

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is mixing things up with a variety of different missions and quests. As you make your way around ancient Greece, you’ll stumble across different characters who will assign you tasks or may need your help. Luckily, you can always rely on quest markers and objectives to guide you in case you get lost. That said, here how to find these quest markers and objectives in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Exploration Mode.

When you are playing in this special kind of mode, the main thing you will want to do when accepting a quest from an NPC is exhaust all their dialogue options. That means you’ll have to get pretty chatty and gain as much info about the quest as possible.

Any clues you’ll pick up from the conversation will then be listed in the top left corner of the screen. From there on, you can open your map to find your specific quest markers and objectives in the game’s world.

For example, one clue might tell you to head to the west of a specific landmark. While the markers won’t exactly be marked on your map, all you need to do is head to that area and check the general vicinity.

You should be able to find where to go for your quests rather easily. All that said, just remember to gain as much information from the quest giver as possible. There are plenty of different quests, so be ready to mingle with the locals a bit.

How to Disable Exploration Mode in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Of course, if you’d rather switch to the guided mode instead, you can do this by heading to the game’s menu. Then, you’re going to want to press left on the d-pad. Then go into the section that says Options, and tab over to Gameplay. Once there, you’ll be able to change the Game Mode between Guided or Exploration.

That wraps up everything you need to know about locating quest markers and objectives in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
