You’re going to be taking over the role of a commander and what your squad does on the field is up to you. Be sure that they’re all in tip top shape, though! You’re going to want them to have the best weapons they can possibly have. But how can you change them, you may ask? No problem, we have your back. Here’s how to change weapons in Valkyria Chronicles 4.

To change your characters’ weapons, you need to head on over to the Headquarters tab once you unlock this ability. This comes after chapter 1 in Valkyria Chronicles 4, by the way, if you still haven’t unlocked it yet. Just keep playing the main story.

Once in the Headquarters, select the Command Room tab. You’re then going to want to head over to the Equipment tab and select a specific soldier to swap out their weapons and equipment. You can also put some new accessories on them if you’ve unlocked those in battle.

It’s a smart idea to make sure your leaders are always the best equipped ones. This is because they add command points to your squad, allowing you to do more stuff on your team. You wouldn’t want them going down and wasting away one of those precious badges!
