Is Super Smash Bros Ultimate Coming to PC?
With the Nintendo Switch now in its second year, the system’s momentum is greater than ever. A wealth of quality first-party and third-party games have hit the Switch this year including Octopath Traveler, Mario Tennis Aces, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Kirby Star Allies, Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, and more. The best is yet to come for the second half, however, with two gigantic Switch titles scheduled for the holiday season; Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee and Pikachu in November, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in December. It’ll definitely be a busy holiday for Switch owners, but others are probably wondering if they’ll be able to get their hands on Super Smash Bros Ultimate through different systems, like on PC.
Well, unfortunately, there’s no plans to bring Super Smash Bros Ultimate to PC, and there probably never will be. Smash has never appeared on anything besides Nintendo consoles, and the 3DS, so it’s unlikely we’ll ever see that happen. Smash is one of Nintendo’s biggest series, and one of their best-selling, so despite characters like Cloud and Snake appearing in the game, it’s staying with Nintendo.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the biggest and most ambitious game in the series yet, and it’s full to the brim with content already, before we’ve even seen everything. Every character that’s ever appeared in a Smash Bros game will be returning again, many of them with reworked move sets and attacks. This huge roster is made even larger with newcomers like the Inkling from Splatoon, King K. Rool from Donkey Kong Country, Simon Belmont from Castlevania, Ridley from Metroid, and Isabelle from Animal Crossing. This huge variety also applies to the game’s stages, assist trophies, items, and more. If you’re wanting to jump into the battle with your friends, you’ll just have to pick up Super Smash Bros Ultimate on Switch.
That’s all you need to know about if Super Smash Bros Ultimate is coming to PC. For more guides, news, and info on Super Smash Bros Ultimate, make sure to stick with Twinfinite.
