How to Level Up Fast in Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Shadow of the Tomb Raider brings Lara Croft back once again, this time more experienced than ever before. The new game takes place two months after Rise of the Tomb Raider, seeing Lara travel to Mesoamerica and South America on the hunt for the legendary city of Paititi. During her expedition, however, she inadvertently unleashes an apocalypse and has to race to stop it. Shadow of the Tomb Raider uses the same type of systems the last two games did, including a leveling system that translates into points you can use to get abilities. Of course, you’ll probably want to know how to level up quickly in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and we can help with that.
Main missions will give you a good amount of XP, but there are a few ways to expedite the process. Explore the world and interact with different points of interest, like monoliths and murals, and gather different artifacts, including documents. This is generally the easiest way to get XP in the game, it’s relatively fast to just explore, but completing all of the side quests, tombs, crypts, and challenges in an area will also net you quite a bit.
On another note, you can actually learn special abilities simply by completing tombs. This increases Lara’s abilities even more, which is ultimately the point of XP, so completing tombs should also be a priority for you to level up fast. If you’re looking to just play the main story, you’ll get enough XP to get through, but if you really want to give Lara a boost, just take an hour or two out and explore, and you’ll level up in no time.
