In order to get your hands on some fresh outfits in the game, you’ll need to either forge them at Fun Sized Forging, or you may also be rewarded some for completing quests in the game.

It’s also possible to simply go and purchase them from the armor shops and merchants you meet along your adventure. Finally, you can buy some clothes and outfits by claiming them as rewards in the casino, if you’re in the mood for a spot of gambling.

Essentially, clothes and outfits aren’t difficult to get your hands on in Dragon Quest XI, and you’ll likely sell a bunch to fund more powerful variants.

For those of you wondering why when you’ve changed clothes and outfits that it doesn’t change your character’s look in-game, that’s because only pieces of equipment with a pink sparkle in the top right of its image will change your character’s look.
