How Long Spider-Man PS4 Takes to Beat

Spider-Man has finally arrived on the PS4, bringing his web-slinging action to the streets of Manhattan and the disc trays of our consoles. With stunning visuals, fast-paced combat, and all of the friendly neighborhood action you’d expect from a Spider-Man game, Insomniac Games has done an excellent job in bringing the iconic superhero to our screens once more. With plenty of criminals roaming the streets, players may be wondering just how long Spider-Man PS4 takes to beat.

Update: Now that we’ve actually played through Spider-Man PS4 in its entirety, we can give you an idea of how long it took us to beat the game.

With some exploration of its open-world, grabbing a large amount of the collectibles, and completing some of the side missions along the way, we clocked in at just over 20 hours. However, if you’re out to try and storm through the story content, you can likely do it in about 15-17 hours.

Original Post: Well, we finally have an answer, thanks to a tweet from Spider-Man PS4’s Community Director James Stevenson, Spider-Man roughly takes about 20 hours to complete on the default difficulty. Of course, it’s worth noting that this could vary depending on your skill level, and exactly what difficulty you play through the game on.

Stevenson also points out that some spent considerably longer than 20 hours if they did a ton of side quests and activities, rather than making a beeline for the end of the main story missions. As such, you can probably expect to see a good 30 hours or so out of your time with Spider-Man.

Currently, this post is based purely on the numbers that Stevenson provided in his tweet (included below), however, we’ll update this post with more detailed information on how long it takes to beat Spider-Man PS4 just as soon as we can.

That’s all you currently need to know about how long Spider-Man PS4 takes to complete. For more tips, tricks, and information on Spider-Man, be sure to check out our comprehensive wiki.
