Mario Tennis Aces: How to Turn Off Motion Controls

How to Turn Off Motion Controls in Mario Tennis Aces

Recommended Videos

Mario Tennis Aces makes use of the Nintendo Switch’s motion controls, but you may not want to always use them. For some people, based on their prefer play style, they’ll feel inaccurate. Here’s how you can turn the motion controls off and regain control of your game if that’s the way you prefer to play.

First and foremost, head to the main menu, you won’t be able to do this while already within a game. Once at the main menu, head over to where it says Options. Select it and you’ll be able to scroll down to where it mentions Gyroscope Controls. These are the motion controls, and you can set them to “off” to no longer use them.

They can be aggrevivating to use if you don’t know they are on, or don’t like to use them, so I recommend you turn them off if either of those things apply to you. They make zone shots way easier, and you won’t be flailing around your living room anymore.

That’s really all there is to turning off motion controls in Mario Tennis Aces! If you need more help with the game, leave us a comment. Alternatively, check out our wiki for more tips, tricks, and guides on the game.
