Fallout 76 Preorder Guide

If there was one release date revealed during E3 that got players excited, it was certainly that of Fallout 76. Bringing the post-apocalyptic RPG action you know and love and meshing it with an online, shared world experience, Fallout 76 will see players exit Vault 76 after the bombs have dropped in order to begin rebuilding the world. It’s a big change for the series, but one we’re sure has plenty of potential, and even better, it releases Nov. 14 this year. With a number of different editions on offer, some preorder bonuses, and more, we decided to give you a helping hand to run you through all preorder information and options you have for Fallout 76.

All Fallout 76 Editions & What’s Different

First things first, it’s worth making sure you know exactly what edition of Fallout 76 you’re going to go for. There are three on offer, all coming in at differing prices and varying numbers of bonus goodies.

Standard Game – The game and the paperwork nobody reads inside a regular ol’ box. The cheapest version of Fallout 76 currently available to preorder for $60.

Tricentennial Edition – This is where things step up a little bit. It has a bunch of DLC goodies for you to use in-game once you exit Vault 76. We’ve listed all of the items down below.

  • Tricentennial Power Armor Customization for the T-51, T-45, T-60, and X-01 Power Armors.
  • Tricentennial Weapon Customization for the 10MM Pistol, Hatchet, and Laser Rifle.
  • Spectacularly Handsome Vault Boy Mascot Head.
  • Patriotic Uncle Sam Outfit.
  • Celebratory Vault Boy Saluting Emote.
  • First-Class Tricentennial Workshop Posters.
  • Tricentennial Commemorative Photo Frame

Power Armor Edition – The big one, and arguably one of the best collector’s editions we’re going to get this year. The Power Armor edition of Fallout 76 comes with a wearable, full-scale T-51 Power Armor helmet, complete with voice modulator speaker, LED headlamp, and custom V.A.T.S sounds, too! You’ll also get a really slick West Tek Canvas Carrying Bag to store it in, as well as some other goodies we’ve listed below. This will set you back $200, however, so it is quite the investment.

  • Base Game w/ Tricentennial Steelbook: Exclusive to the Power Armor Edition, this decorated metal case is the ultimate collectible celebrating America’s 300 years of freedom.
  • Full-Scale Wearable T-51 Power Armor Helmet with West Tek Canvas Carrying Bag: This wearable helmet faithfully replicates the in-game model and comes complete with voice modulator speaker, functioning LED headlamp, and custom V.A.T.S. sound feature.
  • Glow-in-the Dark World Terrain Map: This physical, fully-colorized 21”x 21” glow in the dark vintage map showcases the six distinct regions of West Virginia complete with irradiated landmarks, towns, and wildlife.
  • 24 Collectible Fallout Figurines: Crafted from in-game 3D models, these detailed miniatures bring Fallout 76’s Vault Dwellers, Power Armored Soldiers, Creatures, and more to life.
  • Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition Bonus In-Game Items: Celebrate 300 years of freedom with the all-new Fallout 76 Tricentennial Edition, commemorating the opening of Vault 76. Be the talk of the town when you emerge from Vault 76 fully prepared and patriotically styled in the new American frontier!

All Fallout 76 Preorder Bonuses We Know of So Far

When it comes to Fallout 76, there’s only really one preorder bonus that we know of so far, and that’s beta access to the game when that goes live later this year. Currently, few details are known regarding how the beta is going to work, how long it’ll run for, or when it’ll take place, but just preorder Fallout 76 so you know you’re all set to hop in whenever it does go live.

Other Cool Fallout Merch You Probably Wanna Preorder

Fallout 76 is Bethesda’s big blockbuster title for 2018, and so of course there’s plenty of awesome-looking merch coming by way of ThinkGeek later this year. Most notably, the Fallout 76 Pip-Boy 2000 Construction Kit, which comes with over 150 parts and the tools required for you to build your very own model. This is the one that can be seen on the protagonist’s wrist in the trailer, so if you’re wanting to build a collection of Pip-Boys, this is a different variant to the one in Fallout 4’s Pip-Boy edition.

Other cool bits of merch you might want to check out are the 1:1 replicas of various weapons and items within the game, as well as an incredibly detailed 1:6 Dogmeat statue, and one of Atomic Atlas, too! You can check out all of the neat merch and collectibles available to preorder for Fallout 76 here.

That’s about everything you need to know regarding Fallout 76 preorders currently. If you’re looking for where you can secure a Fallout 76 Power Armor edition preorder, be sure to check out our guide on that here. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
