Hot Tub Event Guide for The Sims Mobile
The Sims Mobile may feel largely similar to the typical desktop affairs that fans are used to, but it does have some mobile-like features in it, including timed events. One of these events is the Hot Tub event, which, as the name suggests, could bag you a ton of poolside bits and pieces, including an actual hot tub. Here’s what you need to know about the Hot Tub event in Sims Mobile.
First off, you’ll need to actually start the event, so make your way to the top right corner of the screen and tap on the little hot tub icon. From here, tap Let’s Go, and you’ll be taken to the event page. Here, you’ll see a list of events you can earn Ducky Bucks from, which you’ll use to purchase the Hot Tub Goody Bags which contain the poolside collection items. Tap on ‘Visit’ or ‘Go There’ and you’ll then be able to go ahead and complete these quests to earn those all-important Ducky Bucks.
Once you’re done on this screen, check out the Quests tab and you should see the first Hot Tub Dreams quest. The first two of the nine parts you’ll need to complete require you to dream of Hot Tubs, and watch the Home Hot Tubbing Channel. As long as you’ve got a bed and a TV, simply select to do each of these things from the menu that pops up when you interact with them.
After these two initial parts, things get a little more complicated in The Sims Mobile’s Hot Tub Event. However, if you use the event page as mentioned before, you can cut out some of the hassle by being taken to the locations you need to complete quests at.
Once you’ve arrived at the location, tap on the little duck icon in the top right-hand corner. Your Sim should now go about and start working towards completing these tasks. Do whatever it is the quest challenges you to do, and once complete, both the Hot Tub event and the quest itself will pay out some Ducky Bucks.
You need 50 Ducky Bucks for one of the Hot Tub Goody Bags. Return to the Hot Tub event screen in The Sims Mobile, and you’ll now be able to turn over your hard-earned bucks for a Goody Bag by tapping on ‘View’ beneath the bag on the left. If you want to spend SimCash on a Hot Tub Good Bag, you’ll want to tap the golden bag on the right.
Then, it’s simply a case of hoping that you get the Hot Tub event items you want in The Sims Mobile… it’s probably the hot tub, right? You’ve got seven days to collect those Ducky Bucks and get as many of the event items as you can.
