How to Go Super Saiyan, SS3 in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball FighterZ is the latest entry in the fighting game series, bringing together several iconic heroes from the franchise for intense 3v3 fights. Players can choose from a variety of characters and learn their various combo strings and special attacks in the game. One question fans might be asking is how to go Super Saiyan or SS3 in the game and unleash some deadly moves.

In truth, characters can’t actually go Super Saiyan during mid-battle as they are already in their Super Saiyan mode from the beginning. Goku is a special exception as he only goes SS3 during his meteor attack animation, but it doesn’t affect his base gameplay at all.

That said, Gohan is technically the only character that can change forms during fights as there is a way to unlock his full potential. While there might be no other characters that can change form, the fighting game does offer other unlockable characters. The Super Saiyan Blue version of Goku and Vegeta act as two different characters and can be unlocked through a manual method or by pre-ordering the game.

Take to the battlefield and master your favorite characters in the game. For more Dragon Ball FighterZ tips and tricks, be sure to check out our wiki!
