How to Pick Shenron’s Wishes & What They Do in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball FighterZ brings everyone’s favorite warriors and Super Saiyans into a brand new fighting game. As FighterZ is developed by Arc System Works there are some similar elements to other fighting games, while also introducing entirely new systems and mechanics, like Shenron’s Wishes.

One of the more interesting mechanics in Dragon Ball FighterZ’s matches comes with collecting all seven Dragon Balls, and getting a wish granted by the legendary dragon Shenron. The Dragon Balls aren’t items that you pick up during a match, but rather you’ll collect them automatically by performing strings of different combos that last seven hits. This is easily done with the Square (PS4) or X (Xbox One) combo. Once you’ve gotten all seven, you need to charge up seven ki bars (by holding Square and X together if you’re on PS4 or X and A together if you’re on Xbox One), and land a full Square (PS4) or X (Xbox One) combo to summon Shenron. You’ll now have the chance to pick one of four wishes. You can pick which one you want by choosing the corresponding direction on the D-pad. Here’s the text you’ll see with each wish on-screen and what it does for you in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
