Is Dragon Ball FighterZ Coming to Nintendo Switch?

Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball FighterZ is the latest installment in the series that brings together iconic heroes and villains for epic 3v3 fights. Play as Goku, Vegeta, and more as you learn each fighter’s special combos and moves to dominate the fierce battlefield. While the game is currently available on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, some fans might be wondering if there will be a Nintendo Switch version.

Game producer Tomoko Hiroki previously spoke up about the topic, stating they have nothing to say about a Nintendo Switch port. For now, they want Switch players to focus on their other title, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

“After the release of Xenoverse 2 on Switch, then we will start to consider whether we should have Dragon Ball FighterZ on Switch,” Hiroki added. For now, though, the only way to play the game is on the aforementioned consoles. It’s also worth mentioning that they have no current plans of adding cross-play functionality. Instead, they want to focus on “unlocking each platform’s features with the game” for now.

The fighting game includes a handful of new features and an updated story mode. For some nifty tips and tricks on Dragon Ball FighterZ, make sure to check out our wiki!
