HOW TO GET ALL OPTIONAL GRAFFITI IN LIFE IS STRANGE: BEFORE THE STORM EP. 3
Spoiler Warning: Though we’re not going in-depth into the story of Life Is Strange: Before the Storm in this optional graffiti guide, there will be a few small spoilers regarding locales that feature in the episode, as well as brief mentions of what happens to give you a place of reference. We advise playing the episode first, and then using collector mode with this guide to pick off any you might have missed.
For your first bit of optional graffiti in Before the Storm episode three, you’re going to want to head over to the map of the United States once you’re in Rachel’s room. Look at it, and then you’ll be given the option to give it a quick annotation in the hopes of cheering Rachel up.
Pick whichever you wish and you’ll get your first of the ten optional graffiti trophies/ achievements in Before the Storm’s finale.
Extra Credit

From the map, simply turn around and look to your right. On Rachel’s desk, you’ll find her planner. Take a look and then Chloe will decide to enroll her bestie in a new class.
Take your pick out of Human Anatomy and Herbology and you’ll tick another of the optional graffiti trophies or achievements off your list.
Peer Review

For the Peer Review optional graffiti, you’ll need to wait until Chloe is back home and in her room. Once you’re back in control of Chloe after her phone conversation with Frank, make your way over to Chloe’s desk. Just to the side of it, you’ll see some shelves with a class photo on it.
Take a look at the class photo, and Chloe will comment about it no longer being up-to-date. Choose how she decides to correct the image and appreciate her artistic prowess.
Monthly Masterpiece

Before heading to take a shower, make your way into the room just across and to the left from Chloe’s room upstairs. After walking through the door, you want to turn around 180 degrees and look to your left.
You’ll find David’s sports car calendar laid out on the table. With this being Chloe, you know she’s going to take the time to vandalize David’s stuff. Take your pick from the two options and then head for the showers!
Spit Take

When Chloe is fixing up the car in the junkyard, she’ll eventually have to clear out the air filter. It’s all gunked up, but thankfully, Chloe just decides to blow down it, sending a ball of oil and dirt flying into the underside of the hood.
Look at the oil stain and you’ll now be given the chance to tick off another of the optional graffiti trophies or achievements in Before the Storm’s finale. We went for the lion, but picking either will net you the trophy as per usual.
Venting Machine

After Chloe has arrived at the hospital and spoken to Rachel’s father about what happened, you’ll then be free to stretch your legs. For this one, you’ll need to go and take a look at the vending machine just to your left. Smash the vending machine three times until the candy bar drops and Chloe can get her sweet reward.
At this point, you should be given the chance to vandalize the machine with some optional graffiti. However, it’s worth noting we actually had problems with Before the Storm triggering the option for us to do it. Before we could graffiti the vending machine, we had to head over to the right (by the elevators) and to trigger the cutscene with a familiar couple. Once that was done, the option to graffiti the vending machine became available.
Hello Nurse

Just to the right of the waiting room that Chloe finds herself in at the hospital, you’ll find a couple of elevators and a noticeboard just across from them. Heading over in this direction will eventually trigger a cutscene of that couple you tried to steal the wine from in episode one.
When they’ve finally headed off to their pre-natal class, you’ll then be able to explore the noticeboard here. Chloe will then be able to comment and draw some optional graffiti on the ‘Wash Your Hands’ poster.
A Penned Appendage

Now that you’ve finished vandalizing the hallways of the hospital, you better go see Drew, Mikey, and Steph. Head to Drew’s room and go through the automatic conversation with everyone. Once that’s out of the way, you’ll want to speak to Drew. It doesn’t matter what you say here, so feel free to speed through this if you’re having this conversation for a second time.
Next, you’ll want to try and steal his pudding on the table to his left. Eye it up and then use the backtalk option to try and take it for yourself. Again, it doesn’t matter whether you succeed or fail here, so be choose as you wish.
Once the matter of pudding has been settled, Chloe will then have the option to sign Drew’s cast. Write whatever caring message you see fit on the plaster and you’ll bag yourself another optional graffiti trophy or achievement.
Drunk Drawer

When Chloe decides to go rooting around Rachel’s father’s office at the family home, you’ll find a ton of stuff to read and investigate. If you just want the optional graffiti, though, you want to head straight to his bottom left desk drawer.
Once you’ve ‘looked’ at the bottle of Sherry by pressing Triangle/ Y, you’ll then be able to draw some optional graffiti on the surrounding area. How nice of Chloe to out Rachel’s father’s drinking problem.
Messed Up

The very last of the optional graffiti opportunities in Life Is Strange: Before the Storm comes in the mill. As soon as you’re inside, walk directly ahead of you and look at the knife in the wooden post. Take it, and then look to your right. You should see a piece of scrap metal leaning up against the wall.
Head over to it and move it out of the way, revealing a tag. Rather than scrawling over it with her artistic talents, Chloe instead will simply slash through it with the knife, destroying it for good.
