How to Climb in Assassin’s Creed Origins

Recommended Videos

Similar to past games in the series, you will climb plenty of structures in Assassin’s Creed Origins. The biggest highlight in the Egypt-set game is climbing atop the great pyramids. Aside from using it as a means of traversal, you can scale structures to sneak past enemies or stealthily approach them for a quick assassination. Learning how to climb up and down structures is an essential skill that should feel second nature to players.

While Assassin’s Creed Origins has introduced many changes in the series such as a hit-box combat system and RPG mechanics, fans should feel right at home when it comes to platforming. In order to climb upwards or perform any kind of platforming move, simply hold A on the Xbox One or X on the PS4. To drop down ledges or parkour down structures, press B on the Xbox One or circle on the PS4. To choose the ledge you want to move to, move the left stick to the desired direction while pressing the corresponding button.

That’s everything you need to know to climb up or down structures and ledges in Assassin’s Creed Origins. Make sure to check our wiki for more guides and tips.
