Destiny 2: How to Unlock the Strikes Playlist

How to Unlock the Strikes Playlist in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

While there’s plenty to keep you occupied during the early hours of your time in Destiny 2, one of the things you won’t instantly have access to is the Strikes playlist. Unfortunately, you’ll have to advance quite far into the story in order to unlock Strikes.

Before we go any further, this post will contain some Destiny 2 story spoilers. If you want to experience this for yourself, we suggest turning back now. If you don’t care and just really want to play some Strikes, continue forth, Guardian.

The Strikes Playlist can be unlocked when you’ve finally reunited Cayde-6, Zavala, and Ikora Rey through the story missions. This is about 75-80% of the way through Destiny 2’s campaign. Once they’re all found and back at The Farm, go ahead and speak to them all. Zavala will be the one who will allow you to unlock the Strikes playlist, and he can be found upstairs in the barn to your right when you first spawn in.

With Strikes now unlocked, simply open up the Director and check out the Locations option. In the top-left hand corner of your map of the planets, you should see the Strikes Playlist as an option next to the Crucible. Load it up and away you go!
