Is Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Coming to PC?
The Final Fantasy series has seen a number of remakes and rereleases over the years, and the latest title to get the treatment is Final Fantasy XII, which originally released on the PS2. The new version of the game, titled Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, is much more than a simple remaster however.
Textures and graphics throughout the game have been highly upgraded, while essential systems in Final Fantasy XII has been altered. The License Board system is now much more streamlined, allowing you to have party members with more defined abilities instead of everyone feeling the same. Additionally, enemies throughout the game have been rebalanced, and a fast forward button lets you speed up the action, among other new additions.
Naturally, Final Fantasy fans on PC are no doubt wondering if they’ll be able to get their hands on The Zodiac Age. Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to bring the title over to PC, and it will only be releasing on PS4. It is worth noting, however, that in the last few years multiple Final Fantasy titles have made their way onto PC, including Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
