Fire Emblem Echoes: How to Get More Weapons

How to Get More Weapons in Fire Emblem Echoes

Recommended Videos

Equipping your army is a key aspect in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, boosting their stats or abilities. Many of these items, like weapons, will raise your character’s attack, giving them the necessary advantage to defeat enemies. Each unit can equip only one item at a time, and you’ll gain access to more and more options as you progress through the game.

However, getting new equipment in Fire Emblem Echoes doesn’t function like it does in other games in the series. Instead of being able to buy new weapons at shops and forges, you’ll need to pick them up across the world. You can find weapons, particularly in dungeons, hidden in chests or barrels. You can also find new equipment in towns and castles by examining each screen and picking them up. Although items are few and far between in Echoes, they won’t ever break, so you don’t need to worry about using them too much.

As you progress through Fire Emblem Echoes it’s generally a better idea to start equipping your units with stat-boosting weapons and items, instead of recovery ones. Enemies will get a lot tougher late in the game, so you’ll need the boost.
