In Breath of the Wild, Link has a ton of new weapons to try out and collect, and the one down-side is they deteriorate over time. In order to tackle dungeons efficiently and make sure you use the right weapons for certain enemies, you’ll have to know how to switch Link’s weapons.

To bring up Link weapons, hold left or right on the D-pad and you’ll be able to quickly select your choice with the right thumb stick amidst your collection of sledgehammer, swords, clubs, and spears.

You can also switch weapons through the inventory menu by pressing the + button and heading to weapons. Each weapon will have a colored number beside it to indicate its power relative to the weapon you currently have equipped. Green means it’s more powerful than your current weapon, grey means it’s the same level, and red is less. Since weapons break over time, be sure to switch them up and save more powerful weapons for tougher fights and the weaker ones for simpler tasks like hunting or cutting down trees.

Now that you know how to switch weapons, for more tips, tricks, and info on Breath of the Wild, make sure to stick to Twinfinite’s wiki page to stay up to date.
