How to Get a House in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Just because Link is a free wanderer and dedicates his life to be a hero and the savior of others, doesn’t mean he has to be homeless. The adventurer’s life is a tough one, and sometimes you just need a home to make it all feel okay. Thankfully, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players buy a house, though it’s pretty expensive (but still totally worth it).

In order to get a house, you must first reach Hateno. You’ll find construction workers trying to destroy a house near a Shrine (Myahm Agana), but if you talk to Bolson, the crew’s foreman, he’ll offer you the ability to purchase the house for yourself. It will cost you 3,000 Rupees and 30 bundles of wood to make the deal. Once you purchase it, it’s yours and you can even have it upgraded.

For 100 Rupees each, you can have Bolson do things like add a door, make you a bed, as well as other furniture and amenities. Pretty neat, huh?

Now that you know how to get a house, for more on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – including guides, tips, tricks, information, and fun features – feel free to check out our growing wiki.
