Remnant Decryption Keys in Mass Effect Andromeda

Remnant Decryption Keys are rare items that you can pick up throughout your journey in Mass Effect Andromeda. As you progress through the game, you’ll occasionally be tasked with solving a Remnant puzzle in order to proceed. For instance, the 10-hour trial gave us a taste of these puzzles with the makeshift sudoku grid shortly before it ended.

However, if you possess a Remnant Decryption Key, you’ll be able to bypass the puzzle completely and move on without having to solve it. That said, Remnant Decryption Keys are extremely rare in Mass Effect Andromeda, so you’ll definitely want to save them as a last resort, just in case you encounter a tough or tedious puzzle that might take you a while to solve. Keys can be obtained as rare drops from the robotic Remnant enemies, though the drop rate seems to be rather low. At the moment, this is the only reliable way to obtain Keys. If you want to farm them, you’ll have to look for areas that are infested with Remant enemies.
