How to Move – Fire Emblem Heroes

Nintendo’s latest smartphone title, Fire Emblem Heroes, has finally hit iOS and Android stores. Players will be thrown into the role of a summoner who must summon members of the Fire Emblem series’ cast to build their team. Of course, once you’ve got your team assembled, you’ll need to know how to actually use them in combat.

Knowing how to move your characters in Fire Emblem Heroes is pretty imperative to success. After all, you’ll be unable to mount an attack on your opponent with most of your characters if you can’t get them up close. To do this, simply tap their sprite and move drag your finger on the screen to the square you want them to move to. It’s worth noting that you’ll only be able to move a character into a square that is highlighted blue. Any other squares are unavailable to drop your character into.

Once you’re up close and personal with your enemy, then you’ll have the option to attack. Alternatively, you can drag your character’s sprite onto the enemy sprite in order to get your character up close and deal out an attack in one step.
