Conan Exiles: How to Cure Corruption & What It Does

Corruption- Conan Exiles

Recommended Videos

This is one of the trickier (and annoying) status ailments in Conan Exiles. You’ll see its effect slowly but surely crop up if you venture too near to corrupting magic. These dark forces are most often found in old ruins or deep within caves, and although these places hold great and tempting treasures, they will leave you with a status effect that’s difficult to cure.

What Does Corruption Do?

This effect will lower your maximum health and keep it lowered for as long as you are afflicted by the condition. The longer you are exposed to corrupting magic, the lower your max health will fall. While this won’t kill you per se, it’s a great way to make you brittle and keep you perpetually close to death.

How to Cure Corruption

Sadly, you won’t be able to cure corruption by resting or dying. The only way to remove its effects is to capture and break an entertainment Thrall, which requires items that can’t be crafted until level 10. Once you reach this level and are able to get yourself an entertainment Thrall, sticking around it will cure corruption.

Now that you know how to cure corruption and what it does, you’re free to continue your Conan Exiles adventures, and maybe go searching for more deep cave treasure.
