How to Get Gate Keys – Yu Gi Oh Duel Links
In order to unlock new characters in Yu Gi Oh Duel Links, you need to make use of the Gate that is sitting by the Duel School. The thing is, while the Gate is something you can use freely, you need to collect items called Gate Keys in order to use it.
There are several ways you can gain these items and none of them are extremely hard to do so, which means you should be able to gain a fair amount quickly. One way is just by exploring the world. As you swipe through the different areas you might notice a yellow exclamation mark. If you tap on that, you have a chance of receiving a Gate Key.
Another way to get Keys is by dueling. After the duel you’ll get points for certain actions such as taking no damage, using a spell or trap card, and for winning. That score will get tallied up and you will then earn prizes after the duel, which has a chance of giving you Keys as well.
Dueling will be one of the best ways to get Keys since you can also get them after winning PvP battles, which are part of the Stage and Weekly missions, and award either gems or Keys. You can check to see what the requirements for these missions are by tapping on the Missions icon on the upper left-hand corner.
Gaining one or two Keys won’t really do much, since you will need to gain several Keys in order to get an opponent of a higher level. You will also notice that there are different colored Keys and then there are some ones that are a neutral color. Each character will need a certain number of colored Keys and neutral Keys to unlock them.
Now that you know how to find Gate Keys in Yu Gi Oh Duel Links, you can be on your way to collecting them. Make sure to use them wisely as you not only want to unlock characters, but also full on decks.
