Cities: Skylines – How to Raise and Lower Roads

Raise and Lower Roads – Cities: Skylines

Recommended Videos

Cities: Skylines is a great city building simulator where you can direct your people to go pretty much anywhere, so long as there is a road to get them from point a to point b. Indeed, your roads will be your greatest asset as mayor, and you will often have to deal with some pesky traffic.

Raising roads might be a good idea, then, to keep your traffic moving with some highways. Or maybe you’d just like your ramps to criss-cross. Whatever reason you have for doing it, it’s easy to accomplish. All you need to do is hit your Page Up key to raise a road, and hit the Page Down key to lower it.

It can be a bit tricky to place these roads just how you’d like, as they can’t intersect too closely to something and can’t have too much of a slope, either. You would not want cars to go flying, would you? That’d surely be some bad publicity! Additionally, this still works with the other kinds of paths (like the curved ones), so don’t fret. Your customization options are left intact.
