A bright, shining exotic star

Nemesis Star is the new exotic machine gun that was introduced as part of the Destiny: Rise of Iron expansion. It’s a solar weapon that slows down as you continue to fire, gaining more power, range, and accuracy in the process. That may not sound like such a big deal, but when you consider that it’s a powerful machine gun, that perk makes for some serious damage dealing either in PvP or in PvE.

There’s no wonder why plenty of players want this weapon. Unfortunately, there is no surefire way to grab it, as it’s not tied to a specific quest or activity. That can be a good or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. Here are the few ways that you can obtain this powerful weapon:

  • Nightfall Strike Reward
  • Crucible Reward
  • Wrath of the Machine Raid
  • Strike Rewards
  • Decrypting Engrams

The weapon is a completely random drop, but the fact that there are so many ways to obtain it should make you feel a little bit better. Our advice is to make good use of those Three of Coins that Xur sells and popping one before every boss and Crucible match to increase your chances.

Good luck and safe travels, Guardians.
