While everyone has been having a blast catching the many critters available in Pokemon GO, there are those who are still wondering where the highly elusive Legendary Birds might be. Zapdos is one that many are hoping to wrap a Poke Ball around in a testament of their trainer prowess. Unfortunately, it is nowhere to be seen.

Normally, an electric type Pokemon such as Zapdos would be found around a large concentration of lights and electricity, such as Times Square, New York. But this legendary Pokemon seems to be in the same camp as Mewtwo, meaning it probably hasn’t been added to Pokemon GO just yet.

Zapdos may be released during a special event, after enough players have had some time to get a feel for the game and more territories have join in on the adventure.  Unfortunately, that means you budding trainers will have to wait a bit longer before you can add a Legendary Pokemon to you roster, but fret not, there are still a ton of other great Pokemon you can catch in Pokemon GO right now. We’ll update this page as soon as we know more about its whereabouts or arrival.
