Overwatch: How to Crouch

Overwatch, crouch

With all of the speed and mayhem that make up a match of Overwatch, many players forget that you can actually crouch in order to provide yourself a little bit of extra cover. It does slow you down a little bit, but it can often lead others to run right past you because very few players expect to encounter a crouching player.

Crouching is incredibly simple, all you have to do is hit a button and voila, you’re a bit lower than you were a second ago. The command on each platform is CTRL on PC, Circle on PlayStation 4, and “B” on the Xbox One.

Remember, it lowers your movement speed, and aside from providing a momentary rest behind cover, there isn’t much of an advantage to crouch. But, if you want to use it, and know how to use it to your advantage, there’s no harm in knowing how.
