Blizzard has revealed the final Old God card, Yogg-Saron, Hope’s End or The God of Death depending on your preferences.
Yogg-Saron is one of the four Old Gods and was imprisoned under the continent of Northrend and used some of its many tongues to drive its jailers insane to take control over the prison. While doing so, its power corrupted the land, but it would be a blunder by the Druid Fandral Staghelm that would eventually lead to its escape.
In Hearthstone, Yogg-Saron will be a 10-cost 7/5 minion whose Battlecry while cast a random spell for EVERY spell you’ve cast that game so far. While it may not be the most competitive Battlecry among the Old Gods, it certainly sounds like a bunch of fun. Until two Pyroblasts smash you in the face, of course.
Besides Yogg-Saron, Blizzard also revealed the Warlock exclusive, Spreading Madness, and the Mage exclusive, Cabalist’s Tome. Spreading Madness will be a 3-cost spell that will deal 9 damage randomly split among all characters, while Cabalist’s Tome will be a 5-cost Mage exclusive spell that will add 3 random Mage spells to your hand.
So with the last of the Old God cards revealed, which of the four is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.
