What am I gonna do with a knife?

Resident Evil 7 has only been out a week, but fans are already playing the game and beating it in all sorts of interesting ways. Twitch streamer ItsTheWykydtron, however, is the first to beat the game using only the knife weapon, and he did it in just a few hours too. You can check out his speedrun attempt over at his Twitch channel page.

The game was beaten on Easy mode, which is understandable, considering that speedrunners just want to get through the game with as little hassle as possible. However, even on Easy mode, there were a few parts of the game that proved to be quite the challenge for the knife-user. The first boss fight in the dissection room, for instance, took a few tries before he finally went down.  Even on the easiest difficulty, there’s still a certain degree of skill required to beat the game using just the knife.

Resident Evil 7 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Are you enjoying the game so far? Feel free to let us know in the comments down below.
