The map in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is supposedly the largest in any of Ubisoft’s open world titles and at first look, it certainly looks huge.
The map has been revealed by Polygon and although we do not know exactly how big it is, we now know what it looks like. Wildlands’ map is a re-creation of the South American country, Bolivia, and the images suggest that the map is broken down into 21 distinct regions. Certain areas will have their own climates, terrain, and wildlife. You can see the images of the map below.
“We have a full agenda for the NPCs, so they really live in the world,” Benoit Martinez, the game’s lead artist and technical art director, told Polygon. “They go to bed at night. They get up. They go to work. Whether or not you interact with them or not, they live their own life.”
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is due for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 7 next year.
