Ryota Nitsuma Squashes Rumors About Marvel Vs. Capcom 4

Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Bad news for MVC Fans…

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 was a lot of fun, but fans expecting a sequel may be feeling very disappointed after this latest piece of news…

Thanks to a set of tweets from Ryota Nitsuma, the producer of Marvel vs. Capcom 3, any hype that had been building for a possible update to the world-famous fighting series have well and truly been squashed.

As much as I’d love to see the updated Marvel universe lock arms with their Capcom compadres, Nitsuma is actually in a completely different division of the company and therefore is not working on a sequel. These tweets were prompted by the fifth anniversary of the third title, as he responded to fans.

He then went on to tweet that his work on the series was rewarding and that he appreciates the fan support, and if possible, would like to make another in the future. (rough translation from above)

So, a big blow to fans of the series but at least Marvel junkies can hold on hope for the Telltale Guardians Of The Galaxy title which was leaked recently!
