Final Fantasy XV Team Not Considering NX Version, Director Says

The director of Final Fantasy XV Hajime Tabata has confirmed that the upcoming Final Fantasy game will not be coming to the NX.

Bad news, Nintendo fans. In a recent interview with Gamereactor, the director of Final Fantasy XV, Hajime Tabata, confirmed that the upcoming Final Fantasy game will not be heading to the NX.

In the interview with Gamereactor, Hajime Tabata explained that Final Fantasy XV hasn’t been considered for the NX, at least for now. While he isn’t currently developing for the console, Tabata did say that he has high expectations for the NX and that his “looking forward” to both the NX and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

In other Final Fantasy XV news, Square Enix recently revealed the game’s reversible cover art and also showed off every property in the game’s universe in a new trailer.
